I’m Laura, and I’m thrilled to have you join me on this exciting journey as we breathe new life into our 1845 late Georgian / early Victorian house in the heart of Dover, Kent.
When we first laid eyes on this five-storey gem in 2022, it was clear that it had been well-loved but also largely untouched for decades. The house had been in the same family for over 100 years, so it was important to us to preserve a sense of history that you could feel in every creaky floorboard and faded wallpaper.
But with this charm also came the reality of a leaky roof, condemned gas and electrics, and kitchens and bathrooms that had seen better days.
